About Janey

As an elder in our church… I had responsibilities to look over the needs and difficulties experienced by our older members. During the decade I worked in this Church in South Florida, I knew Janey very well… both as a member and as a CareGiver. She actually cared for one of the elderly couples through their 80’s and into their 90’s. Janey was skilled at everything from cooking to cleaning to bathing and more. Caring for two people simultaneously adds demands like managing differing needs, schedules, personalities, and potential couple dynamics (e.g., one spouse more independent than the other, or both with mobility/cognitive issues). Janey excelled in all these skills and helped both the man and the woman until each one finally was finally moved to Hospice Care due to serious medical conditions. Janey worked for several other whom I know, both male and female who were alone in their homes. Janey is blessed with the skills of attention to detail, organization, multitasking, problem solving and adaptability. I’ve told Janey that I valued her dedication to these people through their difficult years and I pray Janey continues to stay healthy and people continue to value Janey as a trusted extension of their households.
