About Jared

I have abundant life experience as well as teaching experience. This is my starting point for all that I bring to my students. Through adept collaboration with each child's parent, I am able to tailor the education to the child's needs. My specialty is in relating to the student and addressing his or her specific needs in terms of their full development. My background is in Waldorf education, and as such I have the unique perspective of having worked with a single group of children for seven consecutive years on their journey through grade school and middle school. This unique sampling of a variety of children as they progress through their development, empowers me with a wide range of experience with which to understand any student. Additionally, my teaching background enables me to accurately prepare to effectively teach topics that I have not previously taught, and in a way that is interesting and engaging to the child.
