About Jayla

Hi! My name is Jayla and I'm currently a college student with a strong passion for working with kids. I come from a big, diverse family--I'm mixed with Asian, Black, and Mexican, and I grew up with eight siblings, five of whom are younger than me. Because of that, I've spent most of my life helping care for children, and it's something I truly love. I'm very patient and understanding, and I know that every child is different and deserves their own unique approach. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and positive environment where kids can feel comfortable being themselves. I also love staying active, whether that's playing games, going outside, or keeping kids engaged in creative activities. In addition to babysitting, I have experience tutoring, so I'm more than happy to help with homework or studying. I'm very flexible, dependable, and always aim to make things easier for both kids and parents.
