About Jayla

Hello, my name is Jayla M. I am currently a sophomore at California State University, Los Angeles, where I am pursuing a degree as a pre-nursing student. Growing up, I gained valuable community service experience by volunteering at my elementary school as a senior, where I assisted students in their classrooms. I also come from a large family of eight, with five younger siblings, which has given me extensive experience tutoring and supporting children at home. I believe it is very important to be patient with children while also encouraging them to reach beyond what they think they are capable of. My goal is to help students achieve strong academic performance while ensuring they learn at least one new concept or skill in every session. To keep learning engaging and fun, I incorporate treats, surprises, Kahoot games, and other interactive activities to support your child's success.
