About Jeanice

I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic and fun-loving. I like tutoring because I enjoy teaching children different ways we can get to an answer. I like to think outside the box. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and consistent. I enjoy working with families that value education and understand that learning does not always come black and white- we all learn topics in different ways. I believe it is the teacher's (tutors) job to meet the student where they are in relation to their learning. I started tutoring when I was nannying for a family. I would help their children (elementary) with any homework after school. I've also been a teacher for 3 years now. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family. I enjoy swimming, biking, playing, and caring for others. One thing you should know about me is I like to laugh and have fun but there is also a time to be serious. My skills include observation, breaking things down in steps, and executive functioning.
