Hello! My name is Jelicia. 
I am a very nurturing and caring nanny and mother with over 10 years of experience caring for children all ages including newborns. I have worked with many families since birth to preschool age and still babysit from time to time. I specialize in creating a stimulating and engaging environment that focuses on children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. My strengths include planning age appropriate activities and maintaining a safe and organized space. Most of all I love to keep things fun and creative. Jelicia is everything we could have asked for in a nanny. She was the first person outside of family to care for our daughter, and Jelicia treated her like her own. She is kind, patient, communicative, thoughtful, and playful. She helped with potty training, beginner learning, and sleep improvements. She was also wonderful with our dog - he loves her! After nearly 2 years, it’s going to be a hard goodbye as our daughter starts school. Jelicia’s next family will be so lucky - she truly is a gem.

Jelicia nannied for my son while he was about 6 months old while we were waiting for a spot to open up at my older child’s daycare. She was super easy to work with (especially calming presence for me as well!), always on time, looking for ways to be helpful during naps, and all around loving to our family. She is still my #1 go to for babysitting and my kids LOVE seeing Miss Jelly, and it’s so sweet how she stays in touch and invested as they grow. 

Jelicia applied to my job and seemed interested. We communicated by messaging each other on care.com to discuss the main points of my job and I asked questions to make sure there won't be any deal breakers. We agreed on everything. We scheduled an in person interview but then she said she can't make it b/c she had to watch a relative. We rescheduled the next day. So the next day an hour before our interview, she stated she can't make it b/c she got allergies. I didn't see her message until after I was at the interview location waiting for her. I tried to respond to her message and I got an error message and was informed by a care.com employee that she blocked me. I did not say or do anything to deserve this. I had provided her my number. She was supposed to send me her resume the day before our interview but never did. I felt like she intentionally wasted my time for nothing. If at any point she didn't want my job anymore, she should have just said it instead of telling obvious lies!

Jelicia aka Jelly is AMAZING! PHENOMENAL! Not enough stars to give her! It was our first time having someone watch our baby (8mth-10mth) and we hit GOLD with her! She watched our baby as if he was her own. Was attentive, caring, reliable and just fantastic with him. Kept him on our schedule of feedings, naps and play time. He started to say his words with her and she'd get just as excited as we did. He smiled every time she arrived and even leaned into her right after her first day! (He doesn't even do that with Grandma) It was great to see him take to her so quickly and obviously always enjoying his time with her. She helped out with dishes and our puppy from time to time without anyone asking as well. Would get our baby down for nap time quicker than anyone I had ever seen be able to before. Even our two older kids wanted to be around her if she was here with the baby. She is just a great person with an ever better heart! If we hadn't had a change in our schedules we certainly had planned to keep her on long-term! She is on speed dial still for us moving forward!

She's great with my girls (3 and a newborn/ infant) and does extra chores around the house. Definitely a great hire.

Jelicia was absolutely amazing with my 4 month old baby girl!!!!! She watched her for 10+ hours a day for a week. She was on time every day, actually a few minutes early. She washed her hands as soon she got in each morning and after each diaper change without me asking. 

She maintained in contact with me throughout the day sending videos and pictures. Within the first few hours on her first day she had our baby girl giggling up a storm!!! 

She was wonderful and I will definitely have her back. She is A +++

Jelicia goes above and beyond to help out anyway that she can.She cares for my 2 boys and they love her very much. Shes organized and extremely Clean every time I come back home everything is spotless.She loves to play with the kids and do fun activities with them we all are so excited when shes here such a sweet soul.

I was very apprehensive to use the service, but I'm glad I did because Jelicia was great! My 3 boys enjoyed their time with her and I feel a lot better knowing I have another great sitter in my contacts. Will be having her back soon!

My baby who is not comfortable with most people is good with her. She also cooks, she cleans, she is trustworthy and just a sweetheart. Hire her in a second!

Wanted to go out on a date with my husband for a night so I hired her to be our nanny I was nervous all night because I knew my daughter is a little hard to handle but when we came home our house was spotless she had cooked for us and my daughter was sound asleep we hired her again 3 more times after that now she is our favorite date night nanny very sweet woman would definitely recommend

Never Late always on time very on point when it comes to doing her job correctly.Oh and lets not forget about her cooking our favorite part about her being my kids nanny 

Amazing with kids very kindhearted and helpful has helped me ad my family so much did anything and everything she could do to make things easier for me if I didn't love I would still have her as a nanny my kids miss her very much and ask about her all the time
