About Jena

I have over 8 years of special education teaching experience and over 6 years of project management, training, and curriculum development. I have taught students with a wide variety of needs including specific learning disabilities, autism, language impairments, IDD, and ADD/ADHD, among others. I have also tutored students in general education in all content areas as well as social and behavioral skills. I plan my instruction according to student specific present levels, learning styles, and interests. I also have experience working in a clinic where I was a Registered Behavior Technician, working with ABA strategies and teaching principals. I enjoy creating meaningful and engaging learning opportunities based on interests, needs, and strengths of my students!
