About Jen

Is a passionate educator with a masters degree in elementary education from the University of South Florida, I bring over two years of tutoring experience alongside more than 16 years in the classroom. I specialize in subjects such as elementary reading, phonics, math, and science, as well as middle school reading and pre-algebra. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel empowered to explore and ask questions. I believe that every student has unique strengths, and I strive to connect with them through Taylor approaches that foster their individual interest. In my free time, I enjoy reading, photography, and exploring, creative avenues, which I often incorporate into my lessons to make learning more relatable and fun.
