About Jenna

My educational philosophy is firmly grounded in the whole-child model. I'm dedicated to creating holistic learning spaces where students can engage their minds and bodies. I believe in prioritizing pedagogy that draws connections across disciplines and responds to student interests by integrating subject areas with intentionality. My background is in leading inquiry and project based learning experiences. I work to make learning meaningful and relevant by posing questions that ask students to critically reflect on their ideas about themselves, their communities, and the world. I have been teaching for 7 years and am certified to teach both general education and special education. I have a particular interest in leading a learning pod and am excited about the possibility of working with multiple families to create a collaborative homeschooling experience.
