I'm an experienced and passionate elementary school educator. My husband and I recently relocated to New Hampshire and I'm looking to do some tutoring while I'm in between jobs. Most recently, I served as my school's literacy specialist overseeing the school's literacy program, coaching teachers, and working with small groups of students for reading intervention. I use strategies for teaching reading that are science and research based and have experience personalizing lessons for students at all levels. I'm comfortable tutoring other subjects as well and enjoy cultivating a warm and encouraging (yet rigorous) environment that helps students target their specific areas of need.
