About Jennifer

My name is Jen and I am an experienced instructor and nanny! My last job as a nanny was for eight months, but I sadly had to move away. I am passionate about deep connections with both child and family, and experienced that with my last nanny job. At Mad Science, I led STEM classes for ages 4-12. I have also been tutoring in math for five years, I have been a summer camp counselor, and taught ballet classes for two years, for students ages 5-13. I'd describe my personality as resourceful, open minded, and curious. I like working with kids because I believe children learn through every experience they have as they develop into their future selves. As an avidly academic and creative person, I love to watch children engaging with what they themselves show interest in, and helping them learn about themselves through these things. I think learning is cool, and when given the opportunity to learn in their own way and about their own interests, I find that most children agree with me.
