My Grandparents became very ill rather quickly. My Grandfather ended up in the hospital for quite a while which then left my diabetic & sick Grandmother at home - alone. So we moved in with her to take care of her in her home to give her the ability to stay at home as long as possible. She did not want to go into a nursing facility of any kind yet. So I helped to care for her as long as we were able.
