About Jennifer

Hello! I co-parented my godson from birth and have been "Mama Jenn" for many of my friends' babies and children. I've often helped with meal prep, homework, and driving kids to piano, swim and soccer practices. I highly respect the perspectives of children and enjoy doing art projects, playing cards and board games, reading, writing and going on nature walks with them. My friends' kids describe me as: nice, funny, sweet, gentle, awesome, competitive, kind and smart. Those I work with say that I'm calm, organized, creative, thoughtful and reliable. I enjoy doing home-organizing for parents. My background is in English Education. I taught K-12 creative writing for 28 years in Chicago and was education director at a Madison, WI arts organization. I've taught poetry, art and Lego physics at youth summer art camps. I love nurturing babies and learning with children. I look forward to being a supportive presence for you and your dear ones.
