It was hard to convince our independent parents that they needed a caregiver. We got them to try Jennifer a couple of days a week. She became so helpful to them that she became full time. She takes them to their doctor’s appointments, keeps them on top of their medication, shops, and cooks… whatever they needed. Sadly dad passed this fall. Jennifer even came to the hospital and helped us until the end. She has assisted mom through her grief and loneliness, making sure that she eats and stays on top of her meds as well as providing companionship . What a relief it has been to not have to worry as much knowing that mom is in good hands when we are not around!
