I have an available opening for an infant or toddler for babysitting in my lovely house in Mebane, along with another 1-year-old baby. The hours for that regular childcare are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00-2:00, with some flexibility. I am also available for occasional/date night childcare. I'm responsible, caring and warm. I have been a nanny, worked with infants and toddlers at a preschool, and taught at a Montessori school. I've most recently served as a nanny for 6 families in Durham. Jennifer took care of our 6 month old until he was a little over a year old, for 20 hours a week. She is very competent, so we felt completely comfortable leaving our little one with her. Her interactions with our child were respect-based and compassionate, and her communication with adults (us) was clear and comprehensive. A typical day was spent reading, playing, and exploring outside. She also helped us find solutions to various questions and problems we faced as new parents. We highly recommend Jennifer and still reach out to her when we are looking for child care.
