About Jennifer

Certified teacher with a masters in elementary education with TOSD. I have experience working with students in both general and special education for over 7 years. I enjoy watching my students learn and grow through authentic experiences at their own pace. I have also tutored college students completing anthropology, nursing, and education coursework. I like tutoring because I help students of multiple levels meet their educational goals and grow their confidence. I started tutoring when I was in middle school! I always wanted to help others achieve their learning goals. I would help younger students and friends. Then, I continued to tutor through college and into my graduate education. In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy the outdoors. One thing you should know about me is I am very dedicated to my students. My skills include reading comprehension, writers workshop, mathematics through middle school, and study skills.
