About Jennifer

My skills include personalized learning strategies, creative teaching methods and confidence building. I believe that once students believe they CAN do something- they look forward to doing so and this lessens the nerves and the insecurities that some students may feel when going over a subject they need help in. I'd describe my personality as dedicated, resourceful and creative. I like tutoring because it allows me to use my experience as a teacher as well as my creativity in order to help students of all ages grow, learn, build confidence and actually enjoy learning something new. It's an incredible feeling to watch a student finally understand something they previously struggled with! I'm looking for a job that is flexible. Flexibility is important to me because I am a full time teacher and I am mainly available during afternoons. I started tutoring 3 years ago. One thing you should know about me is I believe anyone can do anything as long as they put their mind to it.
