What can I say about Jennifer? If I were to use one word to describe her, it would be “a Gem.” For over one year of carrying for my wife, who unfortunately and sadly is living with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Jennifer’s compassion, dedication, kindness and hard work made a world of difference for our family. We will never forget how she made us feel during these challenging times for us. A miracle worker she was. Unforgettable, unreplaceable “precious stone” kind of person. The reason I say, ‘was,” is because we had to leave Colorado and relocate to California a few months ago. Jennifer was a God’s gift to us. More so for my wife, who as I mentioned previously, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. And for me as well by relieving me from some of my daily duties of carrying for my wife, which I have been exclusively for 3 or so years prior to Jennifer’s arrival on board. Her ever-present cheerfulness, enthusiastic and gregarious state added an extra layer of well received and comforting feeling for us. It always brightened our days. We were blessed and extremely fortunate to have found her. In my opinion, Jennifer came about by Divine Providence. Her devotion, compassion, carrying for my wife was unparalleled. The type of care and love for our family that Jennifer exuded, by her going the extra mile and beyond the call of duty, gave us strength in dealing with the life we were served. All these gave us the courage to navigate through our challenging times. We felt deeply loved by Jennifer as if she was part of our family, which at the end, she became one. We are fortunate to having her as a friand for life. Again, as I mentioned previously, we moved to California. Jennifer was a great help during this relocation. Helping my wife with the air travel and then for almost a month she stayed in our new home to help us settle down and also train our new California caregiver. All in all, if one had to look “caregiver” in the dictionary, it will state, Jennifer. Or a great Human Being = Jennifer. We are looking forward to seeing Jennifer for her scheduled vacation visit to California towards the end of the year.
