About Jennifer

For over 17 years, I've been dedicated to helping students unlock their full potential through personalized support. I hold two graduate degrees including one as a k-12 literacy specialist and strive to build confidence and a genuine love for learning, not just memorization. I actively listen to students, observe their interactions with new material, and vary my teaching strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions. I am always creating multi-modal lessons that keep students engaged. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrating small successes, and breaking down complex problems. Communication is key, so I maintain open dialogue with both students and parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and seeing their confidence grow is the most rewarding part of my work. I am certified elementary education teacher and literacy specialist, and I'd love to help your student succeed!
