Hi! My name is Jensen. I am a Newbury Park local who has a bachelor's in Child Development/Early Childhood Education. I have been working with children in some capacity since I was just 16 years old. I began as a respite caregiver for children on the autism spectrum. I then worked as an afterschool/before school site supervisor. I full-time nannied while in college and most recently taught full time at a preschool. I am now pursuing my Masters in Elementary Education to one day be an early elementary credentialed teacher. Most of my experience has been school-age, however I have additional experience both in a daycare and as a nanny for infants/toddlers. I am big on giving children opportunities to utilize all their skills: from creating to playing to experimenting. I look forward to speaking to you further if you feel that we are a good fit! P. S. Jensen is so amazing! She watched my daughter when she was just 4 weeks old, and has exceeded my family's expectations. Her communication is great, always on time, very friendly, and easy to work with. I can tell she truly has a passion working with children by the way she interacted with my daughter. Anything I asked her to do, she did perfectly! I am a stay at home mom now, so we will be using her for special occasions like date nights or if I have appointments that I won't bring my daughter to. She is also amazing with dogs. Our pup has a tumor in her bladder, so she sometimes pees on the floor. Jensen would help clean up when I didn't even ask her to. I appreciated the help with our dog as much as help with our daughter. Anyone who works with her is so lucky!
