About Jessica

I am a mother of two boys. Both of which were very different when it came to learning. I have been on both sides of the spectrum when it comes to getting them ready for school and maintaining their high grades. My oldest was reading at age two. He always loved learning. He is now 16 and graduating early. He received a letterman jacket for academics for his freshman year of high school. My youngest was the complete opposite. He had no interest in learning. He struggled with sounds, and being able to focus. Very energetic and easily over stimulated. Needless to say, trial and error. Lots of long evenings and summers during his grade schooler years. Now in 8th grade and is in all honors classes and making mostly As and a couple Bs. The work isn't over for me or him, but it gives you an idea of the struggle. I did a lot of tutoring friends in college as well. I love children, and I am good at thinking outside the box when needed to help. Would love to help another parent out!
