About Jessica

Hi families! I have been working with kids for the last 10 years. I am a lead teacher in a preschool program for the last 5 years and babysit occasionally during my downtime. I have my bachelors for Birth through 5 Years Old and am getting my Associate's teaching license. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I'm looking to work with young children (0-5/6) but am open to working with older children. I am mainly looking for a summer nanny position starting middle of May to middle of August Monday through Thursdays. I am open to pick up random babysitting gigs throughout the school year according to the availability that is listed on my page. I decided to be an early childhood teacher because I love nurturing young minds and seeing the child explore and understand the world around them. I believe that play is very important for the child's mind so I focus more on playing games, creating crafts and scaffolding the child to the next developmental level.
