About Jessica

Hi. My name is Jessica. I'm a 4th year medical student. I've worked with children of all ages and with dogs, cats, and small animals. I've worked with newborns through adolescents during my pediatrics rotation. I've worked with pre-school/elementary school children as a camp instructor, tutor/supervisor, and as a teaching assistant at Northwestern University. I've worked with teens as a tutor at C2 Education, teaching SAT/ACT, SAT III, AP subjects, and college application essays. I've worked with children with neurodevelopmental disorders and physical disabilities through volunteering with KEEN for which I am on the Coaches Committee. I was a lifeguard and water safety/swim instructor. I'm certified in Basic Life Support. I have a Yorkie and I have volunteered with Orphans of the Storm and the Champaign County Human Society. I like reading, cooking, photography, and exercise. As a soon-to-be doctor, I have a proven record of conscientiousness, adaptability, and attentiveness.
