I grew up being a "big sister" to many foster kids who we had in our care. My mom specialized in drug exposed infants and taught me everything to be able to help care for them. Once I was 12, I babysat for various families, some for short term date nights, others for a set schedule during the week. I have a lot of experience with special needs kiddos and consider that to be my passion. I was a nanny for a family that had three kiddos, with the youngest having Down syndrome. I know some ASL, which helps with baby sign/communication. I am adult, child and infant CPR/first aid certified. I currently work for an elementary school, so working with kids is something I not only do daily, but I enjoy. I am comfortable working with all ages, I also am willing to drive if need be, light house cleaning and I love pets.
