I have been working with children for almost 2 decadeprefessionally but I've had children around me my whole life. I am a graduate from University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I am the 2015 recipient of the Marcia Lovell award (An award given to recognize outstanding early childhood professionals who make significant contributions to the children, families, and communities in which they work. Belief in better support and lives for all children, including those most at risk and with disabilities. The belief that the arts are an integral part of early education program) I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I am big on having children learn through hands on experiences and I believe play is important part of learning as well. I Love reading, being in outside when the weather is nice and being silly. I am at the moment between vehicles but am directly on the bus line the can take me pretty much in the Greater Portland area.

Jess is amazing. Reliable, flexible, great with communication, and our kids (ages 1, 3, and 5) all love her. She watched our youngest a couple days a week for about a year and we couldn't have been happier with the care she provided. 

Jess was focused on meeting our toddler where he was developmentally - extra love and hugs when needed, but reinforcing expectations with consistency. Lots of outside time, library story hours, sensory play, and art projects. She even found caterpillar eggs and created a viewing station for our son (and his siblings) to observe how the eggs hatched into caterpillars, which became butterflies! It's so clear she understands how to connect with toddlers.

Our family absolutely adores Jess. She is an incredibly skilled and trusted childcare provider. She was able to immediately forge a connection with our toddler and help her ease through the transition of a new childcare arrangement. She also helped us as parents navigate certain behaviors and milestones in a developmentally appropriate way. She even helped us potty train! Jess is loving, kind, fair, and fun, and we won the nanny lottery by having her care for our children. 

Jessica is an exceptional childcare provider with not only many years of experience with a range of ages but also early childhood education that helps not only the kids she works with but the parents as well. She is extremely reliable, communicative, kind, understanding, and genuinely loves working with kids.

Jess is a baby and child whisperer. She anticipates kids' motivations and needs, lovingly helps them work through their big emotions, and is an excellent communicator. I recommend her without reservation. She is amazing!

Jess did a great job caring for our youngest child as part of a nanny share.  She has a wealth of professional experience, lots of fun play ideas, and a natural way with toddlers that is truly special.

Jess was a fantastic care giver to our two year old! She came up with great activities and was always warm and patient as she helped the small group of children navigate peer relationships. Our child loves Jess and so do we!

Jess has been taking care of my daughter for 3.5 years. She was our full time nanny (nanny share) from 6 months until preschool at 3 years and she still babysits weekly. Jess has always been very gentle and responsive. She held both babies as much as they needed and took them to library time (pre-covid) and on lots of outdoor adventures. Jess brings art supplies, costumes and sensory activities. She loves music and dancing. I'm so glad she's part of our lives.

Jess was a nanny to my daughter and my neighbor's daughter from around 6 months old to 3 years old.  First and foremost, Jess has a big heart- an incredible ability to communicate with babies and children, teach, and provide a safe and nurturing sense of support for the development of babies and young children.  I joke with my neighbors that Jess is a "baby whisperer"- but it's true!  Jess painted with our daughter (even when she was a baby), provided sensory play, read books, did art projects, went for walks and "adventures", danced, sang (to a playlist comprised of both of the girls favorite songs), and cooked with the girls-she did not use any "screen time".  Jess taught my daughter to take deep breaths when frustrated and use a napkin! We feel extremely lucky to have found Jess and we think she was very instrumental in helping make our daughter the little person she is today and preparing her for preschool.  She has great communication and is extremely genuine and professional.

Jessica is great with children! And always has loads of things to do with them! They aren't just sitting in front of the tv all day

"Miss" Jessica is one of the greatest, most thoughtful, attentive, and fun loving teachers I've had the pleasure of entrusting with my daughters care. 
As a first time mom, I have always been very hesitant and wary with new people around my baby, and Jessica made me feel confident that my girl was being well cared for, and having an absolute blast!  My daughter would come home every day after "school" and teach me all the things she learned so enthusiastically, she would sing songs and talk about all the books Miss Jessica read to her. I am so grateful for this amazing woman and the experiences my daughter has had because of her. Any family would be lucky to find this absolute gem of an early childhood educator/provider.

We were introduced to Jessica while we lived in Maine for 9 months.  She became a great friend to our family and our 9 year old daughter.  She came to get visits with planned adventures and projects. She even taught our daughter to ride a bike!  She is AMAZING
