About Jessica

As a tutor with four years of experience, I have helped students raise grades, achieve high standardized test scores (including the highest possible scores), turn in missing work, get a better understanding of course materials, develop study/note taking skills, and gain confidence. I graduated with Distinguished Honors, was accepted into National Honors Society, achieved a 35 on my ACT, received my district's "Student of the Month" award twice, and was named an AP Scholar by the College Board. During high school, I took several challenging AP courses, including AP U. S. History, AP European History, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, AP Psychology, and AP Spanish. In college, I received A's in all of the classes I took and tested out of several others. I want to help students get the most out of their education and share my knowledge about how to be successful with others. I think every child has unlimited potential, and I want to help them reach it.

My husband and I were instantly impressed with Jessica's maturity, intelligence, and reliability. She comes off as someone much older because of those qualities. She has tutored both our 13-year-old sons in 7th-8th grade math throughout the summer and has been an amazing blessing to our family. She is able to find ways to explain concepts to them so that they understand. They always leave tutoring sessions feeling confident.
