About Jessica

I have been working with children in both home and school setting for many years. I started babysitting in high school. I went to UVM and studied Early Childhood Education and worked at the campus children center and did my student teaching at Orchard Elementary. After graduating with a bachelors degree in 2016, I became a full time nanny in Shelburne VT for a 5-month-old girl, and did that for three and a half years. When the child went to preschool I got a job at Heartworks preschool as a lead teacher in a toddler room for two years. I then moved back to the Brattleboro area, and taught the last two years at Vernon Elementary as a first and second grade teacher. I am taking a break from teaching this year but would love to work with families and children in a home setting.
