About Jewel

I am a compassionate and creative caregiver who loves helping children learn through hands-on experiences. I teach kids the basics of gardening, encouraging curiosity, responsibility, and a connection to nature. Together, we practice socioemotional skills--like communication, empathy, and problem-solving--through play and everyday moments. I also enjoy involving children in healthy meal creation, showing them how fun and rewarding it can be to make nutritious foods. My goal is to create a safe, joyful, and enriching environment where every child can grow, explore, and thrive. I'd describe my personality as energetic, nurturing and creative. I like working with kids because they are little human beings with so much potential for greatness. I love to see them grow and develop. I'm looking for a job that allows me to not only care for little ones, but help them learn skills and develop tools to last a lifetime. In my spare time, I like to garden and create natural skincare products.
