About Jia

I specialize in introducing young children to Mandarin Chinese through fun, interactive, and age-appropriate lessons. My teaching style blends songs, stories, games, and hands-on activities so children learn naturally--just as they would with their first language. With a focus on early learners (ages 1-7), I create a playful yet structured environment where children can build vocabulary, practice conversation, and develop listening and speaking confidence. I also weave in elements of culture--like simple calligraphy, festivals, and traditional children's songs--to help kids connect language with real-life meaning. My goal is to spark curiosity and set a strong foundation for bilingual development at a young age. Tutoring available.
