About Jill
Hi, I'm Jill! I am an encouraging and enthusiastic educator! I have worked in Worcester as a GED teacher since graduating from UMass Amherst, until this past fall (7. 5 years). I loved teaching GED classes, but what I enjoy the most is working with learners one-on-one, or in small groups. That way I can really help my learners thrive! I hold a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature, but I can help students in any academic subject up to, and including, high school levels. Additionally, I can provide childcare. I was a nanny for 4 years for the same family, including teaching two boys how to swim and helping daily with homework. I most recently worked as a dental assistant (2. 5 years). I have reliable transportation and am willing to provide it, with much experience driving kids and running errands for families. I've worked occasional and one time jobs in the past as well.

We hired Jill to take care of our 2 year old daughter when she had a mild fever. Jill arrived earlier than scheduled and gathered all the information she needed. Our daughter loves to read books and Jill read several books with her. She said she did not have experience with toddlers but it looked like it comes to her naturally. Our daughter, who is shy around strangers had a great time with Jill. I thank her for her last minute scheduling and will look forward to hiring her in the future when required.
