Hello! I have been in the caregiving field for 20+ years now and still absolutely love it! It's something I want to do until I need a Caregiver myself. I love being helpful, listening to the stories, to be able to help, and keep people in their homes for as long as possible is rewarding. I support their independence with helpful gestures. I help with medicine reminders, assistant dressing, taking them on their errands, supporting positive mental health, bathing, light house cleaning, and cooking. Jill was my mom's caretaker for quite a while this last year. She was absolutely phenomenal! She bonded with my mom through stories, humor, love, and all around care. She held my mom's hand, fed her dinner, administered medications, dressed her, provided great conversation, and brought joy and happiness into my mom's life every single day. We are so thankful Jill was with my mom to the very end.
