About Joana

Hi! My name is Joana. I'm a compassionate, trustworthy caregiver with a strong passion for supporting both children and seniors. I began caring for others when my father's health declined and naturally extended my help to his friends. Since then, caregiving has become a part of who I am. I also have a love for working with children and bring patience, structure, and warmth to every interaction. As a mother, I understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment. I'm currently pursuing my Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which has deepened my knowledge in supporting individuals with diverse needs. In my free time, I enjoy taking my kids on trips and practicing hot yoga and meditation. I also bring skills in occupational therapy, time management, and critical thinking. I treat every client like family and always aim to make them feel safe, valued, and cared for.
