Hi my name is Joan and I'm a mother of two daughters (23 and 25). I just moved to Huntington from Merrick. I worked at Newbridge Road elementary School in Bellmore as a teacher aide for 10 years. I've also worked at Merrick Woods as an assistant teacher for 2 years. I was a Girl Scout leader for 5 years as well. I also babysat after school for the past two years (the sitter job was through Care. Com) I love working with children and animals so if you have any pets that's great! I have two dogs of my own . I have also volunteered at Last Hope animal rescue in Wantagh. I'm compassionate, warm, friendly, and creative so I love finding new ways to keep busy and have a fun time.
