About Joanna

Hi! I'm Joanna. I'm a Bay Area native and excited to meet you :) I was a full time nanny for a Santa Cruz family for four years, starting in 2016. Helping to raise those children (ages 8 and 10) meant everything to me. I supervised the children at all times and provided a stimulating and nurturing environment through play, provided transportation to/from school & sports, meal preparation, light household cleaning, and homework help. I moved on to working with kids on the autism spectrum at 2 different learning agencies. As a behavioral specialist, I worked with kids and their families, providing Applied Behavior Analysis interventions. I then moved on to working at a social rehabilitation home for adults experiencing severe mental health symptoms for 2 years. Most recently, I obtained employment with San Mateo County, providing case management to adults. I'm currently in grad school and had to leave my job to focus on school full time.
