As a nanny, one of the bigger parts of my job was to help the mother to keep the house clean. I helped her with meal prep for the kids, cleaning up that meal prep, cleaning the kitchen, bathroom, living room, family room, the kids bedrooms, changing linens, and light landscaping in the backyard/front yard. Im one of the strange ones who love to clean, so I thoroughly enjoyed the tasks. I also really liked knowing that she didn't have to worry about any of that, I would clean when I got there if something needed immediate attention. I would make sure to have the kitchen clean and the kids bedrooms at least tidy before I left for the day.
