About Joanna

I'm a certified teacher with a Master's degree and five years of classroom experience (grades 3-8), plus substitute teaching across grade levels and subjects. I'm currently a homeschooling mom to my 5-year-old and caring for my 21-month-old. I offer reliable evening, weekend, and occasional weekday morning care. I have extensive experience supporting children from newborns through high school and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids doing what they love - reading stories, building with blocks or Legos, exploring outside, making crafts, singing songs, dancing, or diving into imaginative play. I aim to create a calm, warm, and joyful environment where children feel seen, heard, and cared for. I also offer academic tutoring, including reading intervention, writing support, homework help, and enrichment for elementary and middle school students. I'm comfortable helping out with pets and have my own car. My references are happy to share their experiences!
