About Jocelyn

Aloha! My name is Jocelyn and I have 8 years of experience working with elementary students, and currently teach 3rd grade. I offer one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, and math. I use a student-centered approach that makes learning enjoyable and effective. My goal is to help students strengthen academic skills, boost confidence, and create a positive learning routine at home. I look forward to helping your child learn, grow, and feel proud of their progress! My personality is patient, warm, and encouraging. I love tutoring because it lets me give each child the focused attention they deserve, and celebrate progress. I turn challenges into opportunities for growth, and see mistakes as an essential part of learning. My skills include: 1. Tailoring lessons to each student 2. Making learning fun 3.
