About Jocelyn

Hello! My name is Jocelyn, and I'm a 19-year-old college student living in East Lansing. I'm active, outgoing, and love spending time with kids. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, going on runs, and doing fun activities with friends. As the oldest of three, I've always helped with school pickups, meals, and homework, which naturally led me to working with children. Over the summer, I worked at a daycare, caring for 5-8 kids alongside a couple other teachers. I planned crafts, prepared meals and snacks, cleaned and sanitized toys, and helped with diaper changes and general care. I've also babysat here and there. I stepped back from working with kids during the fall semester to focus on schoolwork, as I had been waitressing too, but I realized how much I miss being around them. I love creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for kids to have fun. I'm excited to get back into childcare and would love to support families looking for someone reliable and fun!
