About Joey

I am an experienced music teacher and English tutor. With over five years of experience, I have taught in both an elementary school and in one-on-one settings. I have tutored students both in-person and virtually and have worked with a wide range of age groups from 3 years old to 60+. I specialize in tutoring writing and have assisted students with analytical essays, creative writing, spelling, grammar, reading comprehension and more. I tailor all tutoring sessions to the individual and every session is unique. In addition to tutoring, I have been playing the guitar for 16 years and have taught multiple students through the years. I am trained in jazz but primarily teach basic pop and rock guitar to beginner and intermediate students.
