I just graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Miami University and am seeking to tutor students in grades K-8, especially in math, but also in history, science, and English. I was born and raised in Beverly. I attended St. Barnabas for K-8 and later Brother Rice High School. As a teen, I spent summers working as a golf caddie at Beverly Country Club, where I earned the Chick Evans Scholarship. Growing up, I struggled in school. ADHD made it difficult to focus and retain information in traditional academic settings-not to mention a little stubbornness . Over time, I had to become my own teacher, which helped me discover how I learn best-that is, mainly, through applicable analogies.
