I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and work as a design engineer, but I also love to tutor. Math is my favorite subject and I love to teach people and show them the many different techniques in finding solutions and understanding the concepts. I am a very friendly person and I love kids. .

We hired John David to help my 10th grade daughter with Algebra 2/ Trig. John David is a wonderful tutor: Punctual, patient, calm and kind. He would work tirelessly with my daughter unless the key concepts are understood. He is never in hurry to leave after the session either, which I really appreciate. He is very dedicated to his students, so much so that I sometimes feel that he wants the "A" more than they do!! He has a true love of teaching, and we are very lucky to have him as a tutor. My daughter's grade really did improve, and she was so close to getting an A... alas, she didn't quite make it, but just to get that close is unbelievable. Thank you for all your hard work, John David, and we look forward to working with you again this year!

John is an incredible tutor! I was looking for someone to help me pass a college level placement exam and he went above and beyond to make sure I understood every concept.

John David is an outstanding tutor.  I was recently reassigned by the Air Force and my daughter was having a hard time with Algebra II at her new school.  John David took the time to teach her the concepts and she raised her grade from a D to a B in only two months.  Not only would I recommend him, I'm really hoping he's available next year for pre-cal. It was truly a pleasure working with him.

John David has been a wonderful tutor for algebra! He responded quickly to my post, and began the next day. He was available via text and email, and I know with his help I will pass. He takes all the time you need to understand concepts, and offers up ways to make getting your solution easier. I now use some of the tips he gave me and it takes so much time off my homework.
