About Joi

Hello :) I like a schedule and a plan. What I like better is executing my plan! I left my former position at Insight of 15 years a year ago in August. During the year I was able to travel, visit family and friends and enjoy life without the constraints of a full time job. My year is almost up and I'm ready for the next phase of my life. After caring for my mom between the ages of 90-96 I experienced first hand her physical and cognitive decline. As a part time care giver I assisted my mom with her daily routines such as bathing, dressing, getting her to the bathroom, feeding and medications. More importantly, I learned that my mom appreciated that I was patient with her and took the time to listen and be understanding. It was a treasured gift to be part of her last phase of life During that time I realized my own passion for the elderly. I'm looking for a family who can benefit from a part-time caregiver. I'm a doer by nature and welcome any additional responsibilities.
