About Jonelle

I have been passionate about teaching from a young age--helping classmates, tutoring peers, and now working as a tutor at Kean University's tutoring center. I specialize in Molecular Biology and Chemistry, and I have experience guiding high school and college students, including helping one student successfully prepare for the AP Chemistry exam. Outside of STEM, I also bring a unique background in drama, having competed at a national level and performed semi-professionally for four years. This experience has strengthened my communication skills, creativity, and ability to connect with students in engaging ways. As a tutor, I'm patient, understanding, and committed to breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. My goal is to make sure every student not only understands the material but also feels confident applying it.
