About Joni

Making a difference in someone's life is what drives me. With two years of experience supporting adults and seniors, I bring a compassionate and patient approach to care. My goal is to foster well-being and independence. I have two years experience as a director of a memory care unit with 12 residents as well as being a trainer of dementia. I provide transportation, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. I am skilled at de-escalating stressful situations and incorporating memory care activities when needed. I always follow the family's preferred communication method. I respect a care recipient's independence, environment, and personal preferences. I also work with their abilities. I have completed some college coursework, and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. I hope to bring my friendly and empathetic nature to your family.
