About Jordan

Hi!! I'm Jordan, I love working with kids, I had been nannying in Park Slope this past school year, prior to that, I was a lead teacher at a nature based preschool here in Brooklyn, was an after school teacher for a community center in Ithaca, and have been a sleep away camp counselor and a ski instructor. I majored in environmental science at Ithaca College, with a focus in Outdoor Education. I value child led exploration, where children feel safe and supported! I recognize that every child is different, and getting to know their needs and the way they express them is vital. I love tapping into my inner child, getting creative with kiddos in both play and day-to-day tasks. I love exploring, whether that be out in nature or at home, building with blocks! Personally, I love cooking, nature and puzzles! I am skilled in meal prep, organization, diapers changes/ potty help, emotional regulation, activity prep, sleep strategies, and am CPR and First Aid certified.
