Hello! I am moving to the area in May and looking for a new job. I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with my degree in early childhood education. The last four years I have a been a lead teacher in the 3-year-old room at a preschool/childcare center in the Minneapolis area. I have 10+ years experience babysitting/nannying, and other teaching experiences. I have always loved being around children and admiring the incredible way they interact with the world around them. My experiences as a teacher have allowed me to experience and navigate various differing social, emotional and developmental stages. I have immensely enjoyed getting to guide children along their unique paths of development. I want to facilitate an environment in which your kids feel safe, able to learn, have fun, and feel loved. My primary heart behind caregiving is to focus on your children and building a relationship with them and your family.

I have no reservations in recommending Josie as a nanny. Josie started caring for our baby when he was about six months old and continued to care for him until he was almost 1.5 years old. She also watched our four-year-old on days his preschool was out of session. Both of my kids love Josie. She is warm and competent. She often found creative ways to keep the kids not just entertained, but actually challenged and growing. I often had to work from home last year and hearing her interact with the kids confirmed to me that she was the right choice for our family. It was clear in her interactions that she loves kids and wasn't simply putting on an act. She didn't spend excessive time on her phone, but remained engaged with the kids and found creative solutions when things didn't go as planned.
