About Journey

I am 25 years old with 4 years experience nannying. The majority of my experience is with infants 8 months to toddlers up to 4 years, though I have worked for families with children up to 12 years. I usually do long term contracts, though one-offs or part time is welcome too. I am infant/child First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified through Red cross-expires July 2026, I maintain a food handlers card-expires January 2026, and Ive completed an intensive trauma bleed course as of Aug. 30th. My appraoch to partnering with parents is to make the transition as seamless as possible by maintaining the same expectations, and routines that are already present in the home. As a nanny who is balancing being a friend and a protector, I prioritize safety while allowing self exploration. My approach to tantrums is redirection to something else that may give them a way to satisfy their inquisitiveness/high energy, I will not give a child ultimatums to get them to do what I want faster
