About Joyce

I have over 28 years of experience as an OT Assistant in the public school system, primarily working with preschool and elementary-aged children. I also have experience in early intervention and working with adolescents. I am passionate about supporting children's growth through creative and educational activities. I am patient, calm, and approachable, and I connect easily with children. My background includes graduate-level coursework, CPR training, and early childhood development coursework. I enjoy board games, puzzles, educational apps, arts and crafts, and dance. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating openly with parents using their preferred method. I have reliable transportation, am comfortable with pets, and am happy to assist with additional duties. Making a positive impact in a child's life is deeply rewarding to me.
