About Julia

My experience volunteering with seniors and babysitting young kids inspired me to join care. com. As a recent college graduate with a BS in molecular biology, I bring a creative and friendly approach to childcare. As I have a STEM background I love to visit museums and show kids the wonders of science! I am very hands on and love to participate in activities. I'm comfortable caring for 1-2 children at a time, and I enjoy sports, board/video games, hiking, and crafting. I maintain open communication with parents through verbal updates at pickup and I am very responsive on text and quick with communication. I am comfortable with travel and transportation as I have been driving for 2 years in my own vehicle. My skills include First Aid Training from my previous work as a lifeguard. While I understand the importance of rules, I prefer not to enforce strict household rules. I am a kid at heart, respectful and courteous, and I look forward to bringing fun and care to your child.
