About Julia

Hello there! I'm Julia, a Manhattan-based tutor, passionate about working with children of all ages. I have been a tutor for several years, working with kids in everything from History and French (my favorite subjects!) to Math and Science. I am adept at working closely with families to understand their specific needs and developing an approach tailored to the student. I work in higher education admin for a distinguished university and have personal familiarity with American and French education systems. I would be happy to help with college admissions and standardized test prep. I hold a BA from the University of Wisconsin Madison, a MA from Columbia University, and a MA from La Sorbonne. I lived in France for three years and my Masters degree was taught entirely in French, including my research thesis. I am a friendly and caring tutor, who would love to help your child with any and all learning needs. Rate negotiable.
